At least 17 people who are confirmed injured after a Nyamira express company bus rolled into a valley at Amabuko near Keroka Town along the Kisii Keroak Highway.
The traffic commander Kochale Iltabul said the incident occurred at around 6 pm Wednesday (today)

The bust was coming from Nairobi was headed to Sirare in Migori County. The injured passengers were taken to Masaba Sub-district Hospital and later referred to the Kisii teaching and Referral Hospital. Kisii commander said, ” The bus has just dropped some passengers at Keroka town and had 25 passengers left inside at the time of the accident.”
The traffic boss cautioned locals against congesting crash scene in that it hampers rescue efforts. he added, ” A good number of people are just interested in looting .”
Kisii Governor Ongwae James visited the scene of the crash.
